Ever since Microsoft revealed that the classic Paint program will not be part of the upcoming Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, Paint program lovers were looking for workarounds to install and enable Paint in Windows 10 Fall Creators Update.
If you are a Paint lover and prefer to use it over other apps and programs, there is good news. Microsoft today said that although the classic Paint program will be removed from Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, it will be available to download from Windows Store. In short, you won’t miss your favorite Microsoft Paint in Windows 10 Fall Creators Update.
That is, Microsoft Paint will not be part of Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. However, one can download and install Microsoft Paint from the official Windows Store.

Paint 3D is going to be a new Universal Windows Platform app and its user interface will be completely different from Classic Paint. It supports 3D objects and pen input. It comes with tools like markers, brushes, various art tools to help users create objects. The app has tools to transform 2D drawings into 3D objects.

Unfortunately, there are a few limitations to the Paint 3D Preview version.
First of all, it is officially available only for users in USA, UK, Canada, New Zealand and Australia. For other users, it is not yet displayed in the Windows Store. To bypass this limitation, you can change your region and location in the Control Panel.

The application supports .fbx, .3mf, .stl, and .obj file types. FBX and OBJ are very popular 3D file formats, supported by many software packages. 3MF and STL are 3D printing file formats.
